FOR THE WOMAN WHO HAS CARRIED EVERYTHING ALONE.

You are not broken. You are becoming.

For the woman who has carried everything alone.

When being strong stops feeling like a choice

You can honour what helped you survive—and make room for what you need now.

Sara Jodoin

You say “I’m fine” before checking how you feel. You offer help before anyone asks. When you need support, you tell yourself it is easier to do it alone.

Over time, those responses can start to feel like facts about you: “I’m just independent.” “I’m the reliable one.” “I don’t need much.”

But what if some of those habits began as ways to feel safe, accepted, or needed? And what if you could keep your strength without having to carry everything?

Together, we will explore the Strong Woman Trap: when being the person everyone relies on leaves little room for your own needs.

You are not broken. You are becoming.

Understand the pattern.
Begin changing your response.

1.

Recognise one survival pattern.
Notice how people-pleasing, overgiving, or always doing everything yourself may show up in your life.

2.

Understand what it has been protecting.
Explore the needs behind your familiar responses—and where protection may now be creating pressure.

3.

Recognise the moment you have a choice.
Identify a familiar situation where you agree, overextend, or withdraw before asking what you actually need.

4.

Practise a pause before your usual response.
Try a simple reflection that helps you slow down, name your need, and consider another response.

5.

Choose one practical next step.
Identify a need, boundary, or request for support you can begin practising in everyday life.

This Is For The Woman Who...

1.

Looks strong on the outside, but privately feels tired, unseen, and disconnected from herself.

2.

Has carried everyone else for years, and is beginning to realize that being needed is not the same as being loved.

3.

Knows how to survive chaos, but does not always know how to receive peace, softness, support, or love.

4.

Has done inner work, but still finds herself overgiving, proving, shrinking, or abandoning her own needs.

5.

Is ready to stop asking what is wrong with her and begin understanding what her survival patterns were protecting her from.

A first step back to yourself

An introduction to Sara’s Return to Self Method

Awareness gives you language for a pattern. Practice helps you respond differently when it appears. Sara’s Return to Self Method brings that work into everyday decisions: what you agree to, what you ask for, and how you listen to yourself.

Notice the pattern. Observe. Pause. Choose.

Someone asks for another favour. You are already exhausted, but “of course” is on the tip of your tongue.

Notice: I am about to agree before checking my capacity.
Pause: What do I need, and what can I honestly offer?
Choose: “Let me check and get back to you.”

This is a starting point you can return to: a small, honest choice that makes room for you. The webinar introduces this practice; deeper change develops through repetition over time.

Meet Sara

Sara Jodoin Creator of the Return to Self Method

My work centres on an idea: the woman you learned to be in order to survive may not be the woman you consciously choose to remain.

I am the creator of the Return to Self Method, a coach and speaker, and the author of Journey Back to Self: Reclaiming the Woman Within. I help women recognise familiar protective patterns and practise choices grounded in their own needs and self-trust.

From lived experience to conscious choice

After leaving an abusive environment and rebuilding my life in Canada, a near-death car accident brought another profound period of recovery. Rebuilding meant learning to trust myself again, as well as rebuilding my body.

In this webinar, I bring that lived experience together with my work supporting women. We will make space for honest reflection and a practical first step you can take into your own life.

You are not broken. You are becoming.

Journey Back to Self

Reclaiming the Woman Within

The memoir behind Sara’s work explores what it means to rebuild a life—and reconnect with the woman living it.

The webinar brings that exploration into your own experience through reflection and practical teaching. You do not need to have read the book to take part.

Come as you are. Begin where you are.

Heal. Return. Rise.

“I have known Sara for a lot now and I saw her struggle with life like I did in my side for too many years destroying myself trying to live for others, accepting the unacceptable and forgetting myself, trying to keep my head out of water... I fell; I sank. My whole body screamed and I’ve tried so many things to help myself. I called Sara and she helped me reconnect with the part of myself that I had ignored because I was too afraid of the unknown. Like a friend, like a guide, she made me resurface and breathe again, to live again. Thank you so much, my friend.”

“During a pilgrimage to Egypt, where mystical things are the norm, I experienced a very public kundalini awakening. I am a yogini and shamanic practitioner and highly experienced in altered states of consciousness. Just not usually in public restaurants, in the day time and totally sober and spontaneous!!!! The homecoming stretch was particularly challenging and discombobulating due to it being daytime, foreign environment and frankly strangers on a retreat. Sara witnessed my distress and took matters into her own arms. Quite literally. This tiny and fiercely strong woman carried me out of the restaurant, like a baby while I was, quite literally, away with the fairies and elementals. She held me in her arms all the way to the airport. She cradled me as I rebirthed myself back into the moment. Kundalini awakenings require presence, compassion, patience, love. Sara was masterful in her attentive support. Her innate intuition and sweetness provided the safety that is required to allow this type of transformation. Thank you Sara. Go change the world darling XXX”

“Sara est une personne dotée d’une écoute exceptionnelle et d’une grande compassion. Elle sait créer un climat de confiance où l’on se sent rapidement à l’aise et compris. Grâce à son accompagnement, elle m’a transmis des outils concrets qui m’aident à mieux gérer mon anxiété au quotidien. Je lui en suis très reconnaissante.”

“Sara’s words speak miles and determination with strength will encourage women to remember their own personal strength... you change around if you want to.”

A few things you may be wondering

Is this webinar for me if I have already done inner work?

Yes. The focus is on noticing how a familiar pattern shows up in everyday situations and exploring a different response. You can bring what you already understand about yourself.

Do I need to prepare or read the book first?

No preparation or prior reading is needed. Bring a notebook if you would like to reflect as we go, and choose a comfortable place to join.

How long is it, and is it free?

This is a free, two-hour online webinar. The date and time will be added here before registration opens.

What will I leave with?

You will leave with language for one survival pattern you may have been calling personality, a simple pause practice you can use in real-life moments, and a first step toward responding with more honesty and self-trust.

What if my story still feels messy or personal?

You do not need to have a polished story to be here. This webinar is not about performing your healing or sharing anything you are not ready to share. It is a private space to notice what has protected you and begin making room for what you need now.

Will there be a replay?

If a replay is available, the details will be shared with registered participants by email. The best way to receive any updates, replay information, and next steps is to save your free seat.

Who is this masterclass really for?

It is for the woman who has been capable for a long time, but privately feels tired of overgiving, holding everything together, or being “the strong one” at the expense of herself. You do not need to be in crisis. You only need to be willing to look honestly at a pattern that may no longer fit who you are becoming.

You have carried so much.
Make a little space for yourself.

You do not need to have everything figured out. Join Sara to understand one familiar pattern, practise a pause, and begin making room for a choice that honours you.
